And, if things work out I hope to have the '56 there as well

  8. Hopefully we can make it out again . We came for the first time a couple years ago and came home telling everyone how great an event it was , thanks for all the effort to put on a great event . It is a long haul from Maryland but worth the trip.

My car needs the front suspension revamped, this year I have to address, I probably have the worst resonance issue of any gasser... even on return road it can go nuts, have to drive into grass to stop it. Feels like the wheels are square. Once that is addressed, have more confidence going above 95mph.

How much caster does the axle have and is there any loose parts such as tie rods or king pins I’ve seen a lot of cars that don’t have enough caster in them and will drive terrible at high speeds

I believe your right, probably 3 deg depending on tire combo. Need to add more for sure, heard 7 deg used quite a bit. I also have tie rod with spacers probably an issue allowing it to flex. See pic ... when front end lifts, dropping front axle, prob 0deg caster. I'll work on those areas first..

  21. To get ready for the last meltdown I first need to make sure I don't drive over any parts this year so there is something for the following year. Nitro is hard on parts.
