Technical 35 wires on stock 32 ford brake drum

    What is needed to let 35 ford wire wheels seat on an original 32 brake drum? Thanks

    nothing. they set in the same location as the 32 wheel centers. i should add, if you're drums are stock. there is a small rectangle shaped bump outboard of each stud that supports the wheel. sometimes these were ground off to use later smoothie ford wheels. they must be there for the wire wheels

    Yeah, if they aren't fitting, you don't have the parts you think they are. If something doesn't fit, show us a pic and we can tell you what you have.

    Those little rectangle pieces just inside the lug studs is what they are talking about. Model A drums have a raised are all the way around the center and 32/34 have those raised sections. 32 Drum (2)_LI.jpg 32 Drum (2)_LI.jpg

    opps! thanks mr 48, the bumps are inboard of the studs, not outboard as i stated. good thing folks are watching out for me as my memory fades!
