Buy the smallest tube of Permatex #2 - it's non-hardening, I use it on fittings, and bolt threads that go into water or oil too!

A crappy set of gasket punches has been the BEST $4 I've ever spent at a swap meet! I can make any paper gasket quicker than a trip to the store. Sometimes, it's nice to make the holes larger to slip over studs easier, or small enough to hold the screws in place - like a gas gauge sending unit, under the car.

Every gasket I get with a part, is a chance to make a couple spairs - better to have them and not need them...

Humor - the quality of being amusing or comic, especially as expressed in literature or speech.
Serious - demanding careful consideration or application.
    Stumped - me. :D

  13. There is a fine line between humor and odor - one is a shift of wit the other is a whiffed of sh!t. :D HRP

  15. Chinese bearings in most everything, go back to the parts store and tell them to give you the missing gasket.
