Big Mike, i won $300 today once i figured out how to get it in gear lol. Body is about done. I'll block it out and spray it the first of the week. Then get the lettering done.

That old girl was rough . It has seen a hard life in Atlanta traffic for over 50 years and hit on every corner.
The guy I bought it from will be really surprised.

Mike and Lloyd, I am looking forward to seeing the car in paint. I’ve already made plans to go to Lyons Indiana to see the race. The great thing about SEGA is the access to the pits and being able to see and meet the drivers, last year we got to meet Colby Welsh(sp?). Getting to meet Mike and Lloyd would be the highlight of my summer.

 

Your expectations of your highlights are set pretty low if meeting me will be the highlight, but I am honored to be held in that esteem. How about you Lloyd ?
Now the pressure is on for you to travel to show up where the car is racing. I know how much you hate to drive. You need to show up to sign t-shirts.

All of the bodywork is done. Tmrw I'll block it out and shoot the coves and the roof, then I'm at the firehouse Tuesday, back here Wednesday and I'll spray the rest. Then just gotta letter it

So cool ! We are really getting excited. I will be shooting the bumpers silver tomorrow afternoon.
I have a little sanding to do to the front bumper after I cracked it and then had to fix the fiberglass.
The rear bumper had some pitting that wouldn't polish out so I sanded and primered it and painting both of them to match.

 

Got her all blocked out except for the hood man, looking good
