... @Fast Elvis you have quite the playground there...oodles of inspiration within those walls indeed...great shot...

Rod, better pic please, bump the resolution up on the Camera...what is that a 33 Willys? Welcome to the Hamb by the way...
Thanks for the welcome. Yes it is a 33 Willys... I sold it about 2004 and my camera was not very good...
I never noticed those insets on the fenders before Steve. Were they always there? Perhaps my Alzheimer’s is rearing it’s ugly head? Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
...Aviation inspired Doubler addition to a Trailer Fender...as recieved and adds some Pizazz... Aluminum Hood, Side panels, Chrome Guide style Headlights oh and Cycle style Front Fenders are inspired thoughts to potential future adjustments... I think my title was to racey...so I changed it...
Was -18C here this morning! Supposed to have three days next week with 7C! Spring is around the corner. Just went through the entire thread from beginning to end. Some very beautiful cars, but would like to see more from east coast and Quebec.
Rust belt is tough on material but there are a number of Hambers out that way...My love of Hotrod was fueled by a Down Easter (PEI) that moved to Ontario in the late 50s...he used to talk of many Islander Hoodlums... He went on with Hotrod till he passed years ago after returning to his Island he loved so much with his missus... He met some Hotrod guys in Ontario and Jack Look was one fella I heard of in Hotrod conversation way back...I'm sure some Hotrodders from Toronto Area Hotrod might know of him... Maybe some have pics and stories...
I know Jack Look and have done business with him. He's quite a character. I'm younger than Jack so I don't know the stories. Also haven't seen him in years. I no longer get over that way. He lives north of Toronto. The few times I've been there he had all sorts of neat cars stuffed in the house.
I've never met him...I can't recall much but I suspect he wheeled and dealed in old cars...we were kids when they were Hotrodders this was probably early 60s... I think at the time he lived near Cooksville now Mississauga...
I'd like to see some of the 40s and 50s Hotrod/Customs these fellas cruised around in...I guess the Times were tough and Cameras were few...
"I'd like to see some of the 40s and 50s Hotrod/Customs these fellas cruised around in...I guess the Times were tough and Cameras were few..." It wouldn't surprise me if he had pictures from back in the day. When I was last there he still had a nice T roaster owned by Ronnie Hawkins. Some cars seemed to be in long term storage. He also had at least 3 bare rough tough Deuce 5 window coupe bodies.
Want to see more east coast cars?? Dude west is best!! No one wants to see those rusted out east coasters... Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Did you say THREE 5 window bodies?? Wonder if one would be able to be pried free... Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

My father (Myron MacIntosh) and Jack Look were very good friends .I played music with Jack for a few years .Great guy ,everything had a price ,but you could buy from Jack with terms as well (lay away ) LOL Havent dropped by to see him for awhile now ,damn covid . Last thing I bought from Jack was 4 32 Ford rim's and tires . Always used me well , perhaps because of my father .Dad has been gone a few years now, but a tear will well up in Jack's eye if you happen to bring him up .
