Hello I have a lincoln 337 with the old holley 884. I'm not carb savy is the slightest and I know this one needs rebuilt. Any other 2 barrel carb that will bolt to the 337 lincoln with an adapter? Thanks

You might try a small base Rochester 2G. I know they will bolt right on to a Mercury manifold without an adapter, so they might fit the Lincoln as well. The Merc throttle bores are smaller than the Rochester carburetor. though.

The simple way is to get the number for the carb mounting gasket and then find out what that gasket also fits. I'm thinking that the larger Rochester 2 barrel fits but am not sure how many flaming hoops a guy has to jump though to get it to work. Things like hooking up linkage.

In other news The Carb Doctor sells a kit for that Holley. CK409 Carburetor Kit for Holley 885 (carbkitsource.com)

I had a 50 Lincoln with the 337 and I used the small base 2GC. I had to mount it backwards and modify the linkage. But it worked great.

I found a picture of my setup. So I thought I would post it. ENGINE 010.JPG
I used the top of the old carb. Its just sitting on top of a regular filter element. I kept the original air cleaner and had it hooked up. Mostly to try and keep it somewhat stock looking.
