For some reason I cannot hear any of the You Tube videos that are posted here. The volume is up on both my laptop computer and the web site but no noise. I'm guessing it is some setting about which I am not aware. Any help would be appreciated.
I just watched the Saints hill climb video, sound was good. Give it a try, might be on your end. Is the mute off? Sometimes you have to tap the video to turn mute off.
No bueno. Mute is off and the volume is up on my end. I pulled it up on you tube and it played and sounded fine.
If a tree falls on a bear in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it shit itself? .....or something like that.
I've ran into it when people send me a link to a video, and the volume was muted on the YouTube controls.
What window version do you have, 7, XP, or 10? We have a resident computer tech her at the shop and I can run the problem by her. HRP
There is a volume "slide" but the selector is turned up. My system at the settings is set mid way. No sound. I can go to You Tube and hear stuff and I can open any other You Tube stuff sent to me---------just nothing on this site.
One more question, what browser are you using? In the mean time you might try right clicking on the open Hamb tab and see if you have accidentally hit - mute site. HRP
Top left hand tab that says - Unable to hear videos It's the black box with a J tab that is open if you are reading the the replies. HRP
The way I heard it is "if a man talks in the woods and there is no woman around to hear him is he still wrong!"
Problem solved! M]y older boy (43) suggested that I try a different browser. HRP had asked what browser I was using and, apparently, I did not answer. Anyhow, I tried Windows Edge and all is working fine. I kept thinking that Chrome was new until it dawned on me that it was 7 or 8 years old. Thanks to all who tried to help and Lloyd, too.
