Picked up some cool old hot rod backing plates I couldn’t pass up. Got those and an old chrome steering arm put on. One very tiny piece at a time.

Not too much to update. A little cutting here and there. I need to get off my ass and get all my mounts made for the motor/trans and finish the body mounts.

Before you make a final decision , yeah , you're 5'4" , but the guy you'd like too sell it to might not be . Very few adult male 5'4" hotrodders with deep pockets . If you're going to keep it forever or don't care about a sale , never mind ..

 

Yea this car is going nowhere and I’m building it specifically to fit me. I’m not building it for comfort or long trips. It’ll be used to blast around locally and to the cruise night and run it down the strip every once in awhile.

If the plan is to run it at the 'strip every so often, you want to get the measurements of the distance between the staging line to the Christmas tree and the height of the 'tree and mock one up in the shop before doing a roof chop. You could be left red-faced on the line because you can't see the 'tree.

 

Man that things crazy. Proportions are killer though
