Yeah, a strong wind would blow it right off the road! Might have done better with one of those half track setups.

I like it. Right after WW2 Dad said our mailman drove a military armored half track. Was always running out of gas. Lippy

Exiting a central Nebraska North route off I-80 to connect with hwy. 30 I saw the very same big wheel modifications on a model 'A' coupe in a farm yard, not certain what hwy. as it was 15 years or so ago, near as I can recall it had modified heavy spoke wheel centers

Top needs to be chopped. Not too much... wouldn't wanna throw off the proportions.
    And fenderless. No hood.

  17. I like the fact that the builder got or worked a set of rear fenders to fit those baloneys!

So wondering about the tyres, - maybe aircraft tyres from that era.....or off military vehicles ?

In the original post it says they are aircraft tires. Would assume something similar on the roadster.

    Cool, @clem.
I think the Sport Coupe you posted has large implement or military tires.
What blows me away, is that it has old spindly wire wheels on the front... and WOODEN spoked wheels on the back!
