Need help guys. What year /make? Will it fit chevy 1969 350 engine. Is it 2" exhaust? The seller says its 265 chevy, but I dont remember seeing anything like this for 265...any help is appreciated..
looks to me like a small block Chevy, used in the 80s on pickups, etc. https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-12170-674-278.aspx .
and no, it's not a 265 manifold, although it's slightly similar looking. The 265 had the dump near the front, not the back. and it will fit a 69 350. You'd have to measure the outlet size, I expect it's probably 2" or close to it.
For a SBC, you are better with 2" ram horn manifolds. As long as they fix your chassis. They are not hard to find.
Another idea for you..... Craigslist: Rams Horn Exhaust Manifold Pair for SBC - auto parts - by owner -... (craigslist.org)
not quite...it's very similar, but different The G body manifold https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-5452-674-276.aspx has an o2 sensor hole on the front of the outlet part, while the truck manifold in the first post, is like the one in my link above....
The truck manifolds that look like that have a three bolt flange, the G and A body ones have a two bolt flange.
I think Squirrel is right, note the bosses where the air pump system would be drilled in if it called for it. Those will fit a gen 1 sbc, most likely a 2" port and should be way cheaper then a 265 manifold.
Oh my God the Horror.... A Ford Y-Bock exhaust manifold made for SBC....The ground shook as Arkus just rolled over in his grave..
one thing about those, is that they only work with later heads that have the extra hole at the end. The two bolts on the left end, are farther apart from each other than the two on the right.
The one in the original post is/was also used on mid 80's Firebirds and Camaros with 305 engines. These had the A.I.R tubes added.
