Could someone tell me if a finned aluminum Weiand timing cover will fit on a stock SBC engine with a stock water pump? Thanks in advance

Maybe with the long pump but most likely not with the short one.

Since it has a hole for an injector pump, it's not designed to be used with a water pump, at all. But if you use a long water pump, as suggested earlier, it should clear.

Resized_20200419_180937001.jpg I have a Enderle cover and a long water pump wouldnt clear. With water pump spacers and a long water pump you could get it to clear but with the injector block off plate on it was another 1/4"or 3/8" taller. Mine was in bad shape, one of the ears broken off so I cut it up to clear a water pump riser but still alot of work. They do look good polished with f.i bed valve cover though. 20200226_201126.jpg

If NOT using the fuel pump drive , Make sure to use a Cam Button .

if you're using a roller cam, then yes, you need to. But not necessary with a flat tappet cam.
