Ron,...you got any pics of the inside of yer hot rod garage?

 

One of my home made signs!

 

Mark the 63 Impala and the 57 Chev bring back fond memories. There was a Red Barn burger joint a block from my house in the 70's. "When the hungries hit when the hungries hit hit the Red Barn" Now mind you if you asked me where my keys are right now I'd be hard pressed to tell you but I can still remember a burger joint jingle from when I was 10 years old.

 

Oldies but goodies. A couple trophies I made for our towns big car show. These were different years.

 

Not really Sam. I just have my dads off topic 67 Pontiac Bonneville convertible, and some other old junk in there. I really liked your two lane black top 55 Chevy, and the rest of them also. Thanks Ron.....

Jigger, Your welcome. Dave was a great artist. He made this print very personal as two of the cars are mine. I really miss talking with him.

 

I painted this cartoon tribute of Bill Hines on a candied barrel for the charity auction at the Santa Maria West Coast Kustom's show, a few years back. It was Bill's last show, I was able to meet him and have him autograph it, he loved it! He was hospitalized prior to the show and his grandson said, "The tribute got him motivated to go to WCK"! The barrel raised $3,500! for Alzheimer's Charity, special thanks to Bill "The Lead Slinger" Hines! RIP

The keys are right where you left them last... LOL! I am doing a commission for a fella (Former USAF) and depicts Alfred, in his '57, racing his best friend in his '74 Roadrunner. I dropped the '63 in to make this more HAMB friendly, LOL. The Red Barn was a staple on West Dodge road and one of two big hang outs for the cruisers back in the late 70's early 80's.

I have never seen a Dr. Pepper cooler so l decided to make my own. I started with a generic cooler and mixed some colors similar to the company logos. Then l lettered a design on both sides. I use this to carry my cleaning supplies if l go to car show.

Oh Ron, don't feel that way. We all felt the love, and know how much you really care. I'm so sorry we all didn't show more appreciation for your heart-felt Valentines display.
