  4. I'm in contact with Kustomrama. They are looking at doing a feature on the family and the missing truck. Should be a fun thing for the family to see. I think it's a great way to honor the Ceola family

  6. Keep an eye on the Kustomrama site. Hopefully we'll have an article on the truck up there soon! They are also working on a write up regarding the car clubs as well!

What a tremendous group of photo's that could be retained for others after all this time. It reminds me of the days in the early fifties at the Hartford Autorama. Not the same any more.

Nicholas I really enjoyed the post of the Fayetteville car culture. I was a student at the University of Arkansas in the 70's and never knew about all the car activity.
In one article it mentioned Johnny Walden won first place for upholstery. Has to be the same man that did my '58 Impala interior. His shop was just south of the U of A campus.

  27. I spent part of my time off working on Dick's OT 1940 Ford. He had "modernized" it prior to his passing. You can see its original version in a couple of the previous pictures. It was his daily driver for many years. A very nice car. Just a few gremlins to fix. Rob can't wait to get his Dad's old cars back on the road cruising again!

    Thanks for following along! PXL_20210322_152123120.jpeg PXL_20210322_152102365.jpeg IMG_20190818_012047.jpeg

  29. Here's the latest restoration candidate!

It is Dick's prized 5 foot trophy. He was the November 4th 1962, People's Choice Grand Sweepstakes winner.

We found it in various pieces scattered around the garage. Rob did a wonderful job. His dad would be proud!
