Got creative and swapped the fenders around and nothing goes to plan with things because somehow a tube popped. But I'll get one soon hopefully and sell the rims. I was looking for a 16 inch bike cragar and 20 in the back or a set of original krate wheels. And when I do get the tires I'm gonna paint 2 skinny white walls on each side of each tire like the motorcycles. UPDATE I got the forks but they where too small so I have to get a 26 inch fork and probably a steering tube but I did get a slick for the back wheel. All together just needs a tire and it's atleast rideable Sent from my B110DL using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

UPDATE. The rim was too small so we gotta look for another. Still waiting on forks since well when I started this thread but I added two things to my list for display purposes. One angel hair fabric to lay on the wheels and upholstery under my fenders. Good news everyone. Since it's summer I will be starting a new project it may take time to find a real vintage Schwinn frame but it will be sooner or later I'll keep y'all updated when I get one ✌️
I think I completed my goal. The original idea for the bike was a show lowrider but now it's a 60s muscle bike. But my goal was to make it look like something a kid my age from the 60s would want. And after showing pictures of my bike at a recent car show it is true. Some boy would want it in the 60s.
Well been doing nothing much just taking apart and re assembling bike wheels to past time but I found a really sweet deal on a original 60s Schwinn or soon to be mellow yellow
Both of my boys had hand-me-down Stingrays in the early '80s, one yellow, one red and both pretty well used. When I was able to get them both new Redlines the Schwinns went for 20 frogskins each. That kind of stings now.
