Here is the recently acquired 56 Pontiac I found for my buddy (PJPontiac) here. Its had a rub down patina wash of original paint from Arlington TX plant with a couple touch ups and got the hood strips replaced that were missing and the hood ornament (not pictured) . Plan is a 455 swap and more to come later
Sweet project! I regret selling my '55 Chieftain before i got it put together and driveable. I look forward to seeing his progress.
Although I like the grille/front bumper, and side trim on the 55 Pontiac better, you would't have to twist my arm very hard in order to get me to take ownership of this 56. Seems we've had a few 55-56 Pontiac's lately, and that's a good thing, as Martha Stewart would say. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
