A couple that my friend got off of FB and sent me. Jack Merkel and Eddie Sanzo at CT dragway is what he said. These two cars where practically built side by side. Jack went BBC for AA/G while Eddie got Jacks SBC from his record holding B/GS 39 Willys and ran his car in BB/G. Both cars are still around. Jacks in a museum in Michigan (I think, maybe Illinois) and Eddies as a bracket car in NJ.

Jackson Bros has a video of the restored B&C car being demolished in a crash on a test n tune run. But I believe it was later salvaged.

Thanks for the update. Did the same gent that restored and then wrecked it do the rebuild? I believe it was candy apple red after it was yellow before it got purpled.
Nice restoration, especially after the extensive damage.

I believe that Jim Tipper owned it and was driving it when it was wrecked and it might have been called flirtin with disaster at that time. This was in the Jackson Brothers Video. He said that he was going to have it fixed and rebuild it but that’s all that I know other than the fact that it was rebuilt.

Hey fellow.. I was looking through some of my old magazines and came across the July 79 HOTROD with the Willy's. Can you give me some updates done to the car? As an old street rodder, this was my all favorite car ever.... What happen to the Motor Wheel Fly's? I had a set myself and like a nut sold them off. I've contacted Gary Kollofski as well just to see what's up with his new 55. Dan in Huntsville, Alabama...

Willysfaster, any info on this one? I've only seen 3 of them in my life (sedans made into PU's) and I had 2 of them. The first 3 are the same truck (mine) Revolting Phil is one we built in NY.
