Of all the pieces that I have, most are in decent shape...

    Except the floor.

Does anybody have rear floor pieces to fix mine?
Or, does anybody have a complete floor that they want to sell?

I wonder why they cut the chassis like that, and didn’t just drill holes for the u bolts to go through? Scary to say the least.

At first I thought it was for a mock up as well, but all the rust looks to be the same. Now maybe the PO was mocking it up? And planned on notching it there?

  25. These are some of my favorite types of build threads on the HAMB. Starting with something most people would not start with and saving it. Keep the updates coming.

That's some kind of engineering! Looks like the rear end would have walked around some. Is the brake line smashed?

  27. Maybe someone was starting to make a trailer frame or a frame to make a quick roller . Rich can fill us in, he probably got the story from the guy he bought the frame from.

The floor is bolted to the frame.

What should stay? What should go?

I think that I can fix this rusty mess with some Ford parts, and some new parts for less than 300 bucks..
