Thanks for taking those measurements! So I would need to bore it out to the point that the lip is gone to get to 4”. I think that’s doable but I really hate to ruin an original part. Thanks again!

Looks like at 4" you would be in the middle of that stamped bead. I think a pretty good place to end up. 1612918854432.jpeg 1612918990552.jpeg

There's a lot more 16x4 ford wheels than fords to put on I think. 4" ers are pretty common. Cut em up. Big lathe or a cnc mill could spin that right out. Or manual mill with big rotary table.

This is where you will end up the caliper is set to .28 which is what you would cut per side to get to 4" looks good 1612919410527.jpeg

  9. Yep - that's what I got on a Jeep - about 4" - Moriarity had the answer I believe - here's some pick of one of my early Ford's that was cut for a Jeep and my Jeep lock hub which is a smidgeon over 4" . 20210207_173626.jpg 20210207_173618.jpg 20210207_173454.jpg

i've seen those wheels with the bump between the lug holes on lots of old commercial stuff like air compressors, and trailers, etc. but unless you know of some old yards to look, i would just make what you need

    OK, sounds good

I’ll find a set of Ford rims and tweak them a bit to fit.

Thanks for the time spent taking measurements and researching.

You’re right - I think they are out there. So use what’s available now and watch for the exact match.
