Painted this for a friend. He helped me get a title for my model A project, then he wouldn't take any money for doing it. He loved the disc. He’s doing a falcon project currently. Sorry about the crappy photo.

jnaki, you need to change your cup holders, the cars are going to be upside down when you put them on a cup.

Well a little practice piece for a headliner I’m going to do in the sleeper on my COE . This is in 18ga coldroll but the interior will be in 3003 .062 Al . This is 32” diameter.

...I did this drawing in grade 9 at 14 years old...I was snooping through the Vintage Hotrod Shows Thread and saw the real deal posted by @Moriarity...I made the connection as soon as I saw it...

I have to ask @Moriarity...Did you take this pic? I noticed it's in Minnesota and I think we grew up through this period in Hotrod/Custom...just curious...

I dug into my archives and found it...I'm starting to colorize it...I've never been a big color Artist as my biggest love was HB pencil but over the years color has played a bigger part and certainly can compliment a sketch...

...Enjoy...print it out let your kids color it...I'll see what I come up with...It's interesting putting your hand back onto something you did 47 years ago...

That could make for a problem when turning it over to look at it right side up...

 

my wife is a professional photographer
each year we visit USA she can take up to 3000 photos (cars /scenery)

 

I'm just clarifying Lepus's observation, good to know for safety...and thank you...So J would have to flip the template...It certainly changes the drawing area...Thanks Lepus

Maybe You could use reversed ones for model stands...

Heck of a show this week fellas! Sometimes you just hate to see it end.
Speaking of ends, I ran across this pic and had to embellish it a bit for some fun.
I figured it was HAMB friendly enough!
And of course the 57 in there also helps qualify it (he he).
