I'm still trying to find this side profile I recall...I often wonder where our inspiration comes from and many times it was an brief exposure to some cool Hotrod/Custom in our virtual or physical travels...

Very unique looks, engine choices, and provenance...Good Karma in your world...any louvers in the Merc 51? Some frown them in Customs but airflow is needed as Louvers are functional and pleasingly laid they compliment...

 

51, looking forward to donuts again but not until my wife completely recovers from her lung cancer surgery. Until this Covid thing settles down just can't take any chances.

I do like louvers. If I find another a hood I might do louvers. For now I'll keep the body as close to the way Dean Jeffries built it.

No new pic's! Car runs. Need a fuel pump for a 331 hemi. Nobody makes them anymore. Thinking about ordering the adapter from Hot Heads to use a 318 fuel pump. Anyone use one?

 

WOW. I DRIVE A 51'MERC. (FLATHEAD) I CAN;T AMAGINE THE RUSH YOU GET WHEN YOUR SITTING BEHIND THE WHEEL WITH THAT HIMI. NICE CAR.

 

I'll let you know when I get it on the road, still looking for a mechanical fuel pump.
