    My grandparents bought a new 47 or 48 Aero Sedan when I was little. In that time just after the war you signed up at the dealership to get in line to buy a new car and when the next load came in the first guy on the list got his pick and on down the line. I have a feeling that my grandmother did the picking that day as my grandfather would have bought the plain sedan.
    I've about aged out of builds but would snag a 48 if one came along at the right price.

    When I was a kid, two neighbors had '47-'48 Fleetline Aerosedans. I was fascinated by and a little bit scared of how sinister they looked!

    Know a guy with a '46 with the correct deale installed wood kit (the clue is the little indent where the key for the doors go). Could never convince him to sell to me and now he's got it back on the road. I'll make do with my '47 Buick Sedanette...
