Well the cats out of the bag , The Rodders Journal is going to be shooting the 32 and my wife 49 Buick in bare metal here in the near future .

Also I ended up making a motor mount plate out of 1/4 “ steel for the Wayne motor , it comes off the front side of the motor and mount in the stock ford v8 location . I’ve made very elaborate motor mounts in the past but with this project I wanted to keep it simple and make it seem like this was an aftermarket piece that could have been made back in the day to put a Chevy inline 6 in a 32 ford .

Love the front motor mount. That flows like a Salvador Dali! Just beautiful to look at!! Please say that it will be polished steel.

Wow, if this is the simple motor mount, the mind boggles as to what the elaborate version would have looked like. Impressive stuff as per usual.

i've been following the build on Instagram, nice job!
On the motor mount, i was planning on doing something similar on my truck. i assume you trimmed the front plate, under the pulley, for the new mount to fit?

Cody, I've never done this personally, but, I have seen these 6 cylinders started manually with a crank start from the front. This would be for freaking out the already dumb struck viewer, so there's that. As an old Inliner with 117 k personally driven miles on a '56 235 in my '49 with a '62 261 patiently waiting in the wings I am soooo proud of you for going this incredibly unique route, the style points, IMHO, are off the charts!

Marshall trimmed it when he built the motor , so it made things a lot easier

Thank you , they took a while to get but definitely worth it . I’m still waiting on the rears but this makes it so that I can make this thing a roller.

You so lucky , I wish I was there to hear this thing run in person . Marshall kept teasing me with videos .

@Cody Walls you're very good with the camera...It's part of the inspiration these vintage offerings from a much different time can have on ones appreciation of past Excellence...

Your 32 insert is beautiful. Where did you buy the vertical bars? And can you buy the horizontal bars too?
