My son lives in SJB and likes bikes
[He's 2X USA Cycling Masters National Champion.]

Sells (mostly high end current) bike stuff on ebay.

  4. My recent acquisition- 1950 Mercury Aero- I tend to follow the Mercury line, only because I have the real deal '50.
I don't know what get's better mileage= the bikes, or the car! LOL

Was on a lot when I cleaned up a hoarder site and had 200 bikes to get rid of. Sold off the pre-war stuff there. Still have 56 50's vintage bikes left. I'll have to start selling them. Great site to get information and the serious collectors will pay for good items.

Not real old but it's a 1946 Columbia with a 1946 Whizzer kit on it. Not pretty but it runs.

Here is my newest to me old bike. 1881 Columbia Standard. Need to replace a few spokes and put new tires on it and she'll be ready for a test run.

Have had this for over 20 years now. 1889 Columbia Light roadster. Previous caretaker made some mods so it would be a reliable rider. Columbia.JPG

Going to toss this on hoping bicycle guys might know tricycles. Just picked it up. AMF double step. I can’t find a comparable online. Badge indicates early/ mid 60’s although I have not seen the fender design in pics. Any ideas?

I guess I get why they say "no bikes". If not, every HD Panhead, Knucklehead, Honda 50, Cushman, X6 Hustler, etc would be listed for sale. At least this way they can be consistent.

Why doesn't somebody wise in the ways of old bicycles post all the appropriate bicycle sites where we can look for old bike stuff for sale.

I think it applies to "BUY / SELL" ads, Otherwise we would not be reading this.

There's too many to list honestly, and it depends what era you're into, as well as what style. Ebay is a great place for parts. I'm a 80/90s BMX and freestyle guy so the BMX museum website has tons of stuff. For old schwinn and like stuff I'd imagine there's a whole other world of sites and forums.

While these two may not be vintage in terms of old, I think they capture the essence of the HAMB website. They were in the lobby of Felt Bicycles, Irvine CA.
