It is so hard for me to believe that there aren't many 33's out there. Are they all mostly projects sitting in a garage or barn somewhere? Isn't that red one a beaut?

What ever happened to this car and how competitive was it? Great looking setup.

  8. Don’t know. A gasser FB page was posting a bunch of 33/34 Plymouth gassers the same day this thread popped up.

I agree with Frankie. Years ago, a friend built a '33 Chrysler 3 window coupe and it is an amazing body style.

My 33 PC as it sits now. The original frame was ate up with rust so I opted for a set of 32 rails i was saving for another time. Engine is a 301 cuin hemi with a 471.

I like the 34 grill inserts more so that will also be changed. I’m also trying to find a pair of rear fenders and side aprons so I can run it full fendered.

  13. I wouldn’t run side aprons.
Build the running boards and modify the fenders to expose the beauty of a 32 chassis.

I just love the 33 instrument panel.

  17. If Milner was driving one on the screen back in 73 we would be up to our necks in them. ;)

It held the b/gas record for a while in1967. It was total terror at all the local tracks. It had a clutch flight in it and the decided to exit nearly cutting the car in half. It was retired and replaced with a 69 cuda.

I'm okay with that 1/4 window but I understand what your saying...it actually looks alot like the Aussie and NZ 34 5w Coupes...did Plymouth actually make a 3w?
