    I drove it over to the tri-cities, didn't get to "kick in the ass" because Paul was sitting in the passenger bucket seat. Tried to talk him into painting the color blue in between the valve & valley cover ribs, his wife said NO. dyno dave

    Been running this intake for close to 20 yrs, the carbs still had Carter gaskets when I IMG_2519 (2).JPG brought it & the exhaust manifold. Kept thinking that it might go to a restorer... Not, so polished the intake and soon its to be mounted on my 270 cu.in. 261... The carb leakage thing happen twice long ago, raised the float level to 5/8" been good ever since. dyno dave

    About three years ago, guys must have been cleaning their shops & garages and put Chevy 216 & 235 intakes up for sale. Prefer the unusual manifolds and came up with a half a dozen, did my thing on them and back they to E-bay! A favorite, this is an original part.. dyno dave 040.JPG ]5014973[/ATTACH]
