Greetings, all! I am a new member here and would just like to say hi and how are ya! I’m 46, work on the W.T. Waggoner ranch here in Texas. I grub mesquite trees with an excavator, or a track hoe, depending on who you ask. I’m married, have 2 daughters, 3 grandkids, and 2 step-daughters, one of whom is in the USN! And let us not forget my lovely wife, who allows me to spend time and precious money on my little project. Aahh, my car. It is a 1950 Chevy Styleline Deluxe, 216, 3 on the tree. 90% original. (except for the paint, which will come into the story in a minute) It was given to me by my mother. My late grandmother gave it to her. My grandmother’s brother restored the car for her in (I think) the ‘80s. The factory color is Windsor Blue. But he repainted it a darker blue. Original motor, trans, and Rochester 1 barrel, oil bath and all. Well there you have it, I hope to meet lots of mew friends here!!!
Thank you my friend. We got married in the garden of the gods. We hope to move to Colorado in the near future!
Hi. nice looking ride. If you need replacement parts to great sources I have used a lot are www.filingstation.com and www.chevsofthe40s.com . The both have online stores and big paper catalogs. My avitar photo here is the 235 engine installed in my 46 Chevy Coupe. Good luck with your project. Jimmie
