80's I guess - I like the 50's and 60's but most stations don't play too much of that anymore it seems.

    Hello,

The garage gets a busy schedule these days leading up to the holidays. Tons of electrical cords, making decorations for the yard and random light effects, etc. But, making those small hand made gifts are necessary as the tradition at our family gatherings (This year it was 15 feet away, masked up visits and gift exchanges. We old guys can’t take any chances.)

So, I am in the middle of several jobs and out pops this song by John Mayer.

    Jnaki
It hits close to everyone’s home and how you cope with everything.

From the John Mayer “ROOM FOR SQUARES” album
    GREAT INDOORS

    Check your pulse
Its proof that you're not listening to
The call your life's been issuing you
The rhythm of a line of idle days

Scared of the world outside you should go explore
Pull all the shades and wander the great indoors
    The great indoors

    Lamplight makes the shadows play
And posters take the walls away
The TV is your window pane
The view won’t let you down

So, put your faith in a late night show
I bet you didn't even know
Depends on how far out you go
    The channel numbers change

Scared of the world outside you should go explore
Pull all the shades and wander the great indoors

Though lately I can’t blame you
    I have seen the world
And sometimes wish your room had room for two

    So, go unlock the door
And find what you are here for
    Leave the great indoors
    Please leave the great indoors

    Check your pulse
Its proof that you're not listening to
The call your life's been issuing you
The rhythm of a line of idle days

    … of idle days

Just found "Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats". Great band, give em a try. Or if you like Kenny Wayne Shepard search for "Samantha Fish Band".

North Suburb of the Twin Cities here in MN. 95.9 "the Big Q" 50-70's anything and everything. Or 105.7. Maybe 106.1 If I need to listen to old Country.

My wife complaining about the smell of acetone and spray paint and after too long a build time, the sound of my banger back on the road. 60+ neck snapping horsepower!
My wife is a good sport about the crazy stuff that I think is absolutely necessary though.

The Nostalgia Jukebox. This is great if you can stream internet. Punch in the year, select the songs, puts them in a que and plays in order. I recommend 1968-69.

I just bought 3 CD's on vacation in Puerto Vallarta. Caribbean, sort of reggae, toe tapping beat. Normally I have a 70's 80's 90's rock station tuned in, but I'm looking forward to something different. "We Are the Champions" was starting to make me nauseous!
