    @1934coupe Hey Pat this one from page 7 in this thread a Jack Merkel car or sponsored by him. Sure looks like Dover.

    LB it's not a JM sponsored car, and I'm not positive that it is Dover either. The landscape is too flat and the concession stand would be in view behind the Willys. I also think the stairs going up to the tower go the opposite direction at Dover. Happy Jan. 17

    That's Doug Cook on the left in front of "Swindler A" and his brother Roy Cook in front of "Swindler B". I was lucky enough to meet these two at Jack Merkels shop around 65 and sat in on their conversation and bench racing. They were in town for the Gasser meet at NY National raceway. I was at the track that weekend and was in Cooks pit area when Doug told his brother to warm up the B car. Roy saw me and asked if I wanted to go for a ride. With a shit eaten grin on my face I sat in on the passenger side and for a few minutes I was the happiest kid in the world.
