Hi there ! One month ago, a dream has come true for me !
This summer I discovered by pure chance a beautiful castle in the middle of nowhere in France, near Poitiers, where a wonderful old man has a great cars collection.

And he had this amazing all original 1932 Ford 3W for 25 years, back when he was driving it in Paris.
After becoming friend with this 78 years young man, I called and asked him many times if he would sell it to me because it was my dream car and he finally accepted !!!

This Coupe Deluxe was built at the Copenhagen Ford Plant in Denmark !
It has the danish brass tag on the firewall with the 18-VIN number, also has the european hood sides.

I don't have much history on the car, the previous owner, Mr. Nylin bought it at an auction in Paris in June 1995 (vente Poulain et Le Fur). It came from the "Collection of Mister X."
The car has been restored by Chapron in Paris, as it is described in the auction book.
Before that, the previous owner, Mister X, was called Jean-Pierre Fredegue. His papers are dated from 1982. It might have been restored at this time.
It also might have been in Germany at some point before France, as it also has a tag in german on the firewall.

If anyone knows more details on this car, please let me know ! Thank you !
I also found a pic of it (dated 1993) where it was on display but I have no idea where it was...

P.S. This is not the french 3W Coupe from the Moussinet collection !

    What an incredible find!
Don't change anything... It looks better with the black walls in my opinion.

Yes, as Deuce Lover said.. Same fenders on us and europe. Mine is 2 '' wider. And the shape is not 100 % The are lokal made in fiber.. All the euro body is wider about 4''back and 2'' front. and the fenders are deeper in the body because they are on the same place on the frame You can see it on the picture. image.png

    jimmysweden .
I didn’t realise that the body was so much wider.
So are the front fenders and running boards standard size ?(a bit hard to tell from those photos). Thanks !
I can’t figure out the overlapping headlight bar, are you making one out of two ? Or is the car wider at the front also than normal ?

Rare delivery version of a European Deuce, for sale in Holland. Note rear door, though it might have been done by a coachbuilder (?)
