I’ve had the quarters on and off a bunch of time with screws . Just to mock everything up . With me doing rear floor section it’s way easier to have them off. Once I get the floor done for good I’ll put them on for good

Everything else is real on the car, how about finding some real Kinmonts too?

Those are the CATS ASS :) Simply beautiful.

  16. Great look, fantastic style.

  17. They stop fine if they're set up correctly, just like any other brake. I have less than half that in my complete set, but not as a complete set over the span of a decade.

Some finned Buick drums would be era appropriate, stop well, look cool, and not break the bank. /shrug

Scholars Course in rare Hot Rod stuff. I didn't even know most of these speed parts existed before this thread, and you're putting 'em all on one car. Amazeballs!!

The work is off the hook of course. We expect no less!:p

Thanks ,it took along time to hunt all these parts down

  24. You had a great vision of what you wanted and from the looks of it haven't compromised that vision, regardless of how long it takes to get the parts! Well done!

  25. Nice choice on the brakes Cody... may need to have Marshall do those on my 36 3w.. guess I better start saving up...
looks great man ! It was so fun watching the six run at the shop...

Ok, this is embarrassing, but I have never seen an engine like that. What did it come out of? Thanks.

  27. Just my $.02, I'm not a Chevy 6 guy, but judging by the beginning
of this thread it's a Chevy 6 of early '50s. Here's a better pic of one.
Both of these are regular Chevy heads. What I'm sure Cody will have is
the big GMC version with a Wayne head. Earlier in this thread
    Cody has some pix.

What it is , is a 1950s Chevy 261 , the stovebolt era 6 cylinder . that is punched out to a 272 with a Wayne 12 port Chevy head , Wayne made very few Chevy heads compared to the Wayne GMC head . Which the heads are totally different and nothing interchanges between them.

I went with the Chevy because it’s length wise shorter and a better fit in my 3 window than the gmc Jimmy motor
