Very cool and thanks for posting it. Will watch when I’m done working! Regards, Randy Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Great stuff! Thanks for posting. I remember the Crosley on a pole referenced in the first film. It was at a junkyard on Rt. 301 just North of Richmond for years.
I hope everyone enjoys the movie as much as I did working on it. Fletcher Harrison's narration is incredible. Thanks Tim Clary
Tim- Thank you SO much for taking the time to do this, getting Fletcher Harrison's great memories, and putting it up on YouTube!
I loved every minute of this! Thanks for the compiling and posting of it. Definitely shows how it really was back then. Does anyone know if similar footage exists from Hatfield, Maple, Allentown, Leihigh valley, Cecil, or Langhorne?
I’ve been hoping to find some history on my 32 3w. It came out of Hagerstown Maryland channeled not chopped, filled cowl, olds rear, bullet hole in the drivers door. I know it’s not much to go on probably drag raced in the 60s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Funny you should say that. My ulterior motive is always to find history on my’32 three window , as well. I have been trying to trace it since my Dad and I got her in 1972. Mine is wedge channeled , unchopped, with an engine setback ,and came from the Boyertown Pa. area.
I absolutely LOVE early drag racing Hot Rods ... Please share everything you come across. What excellent footage, fantastic job fellas
Yeah, definitely the same school of thought. Mine might have faired a little bit better, over the decades. She wears the same paint today, as when I first saw her back in 1968. What are your plans for the redo on yours?
