If I used my real town as the location people couldn't pronounce it, so I use the the next door metropolis. I do see that people will use a real town in the classifieds, so they're more concerned about money in their pockets vs. help from a fellow car guy.
Where's the beef? seems to be a part of this thread... here's another contender: Salem Sue from New Salem, NDakota. Can be seen from I-94.
Been to the Iowa State Fair. It was in 1963 and I watched Jerry Blundy win the IMCA 25 lap main on the race track while my personal favorite, Harold Leep, came in fifth. I was there with a farmer from the town where I lived in Oklahoma showing 16 head of Guernsey's. We came away with Grand Champion Bull and Cow and Reserve Grand Champion Bull. I had a heck of a good time there.
"Hi, my flathead is hard to start and cranks really slowly." …………………. Much discussion follows, then the OP finally confesses he lives in North Dakota and it is January.
Our little town is so small we have to use a little bigger one (Wakeman) 11 miles away for our mailing address. Most everybody knows where Norwalk Raceway Park (Summit Motorsports Park) is located. I am about 14 miles Southeast of the track. God Bless Bill https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...ar-transport-hauling-open-or-enclosed.614419/
