And not just any 12 spokes, they are Creitz. Said to be rare, but I don’t find them particularly stylish.

I guess the admin didn't like the wheels either, I must be targeted and about had my limit, vintage photos from Niagara Speedway and they get deleted.

Kent Endrele ran this sedan with a 4-barrel, belly tank nose. Norm Grudem photo, taken at Pomona. Kent would gain fame later with his injectors.


Don Yates in the Yates Brothers dragster, with Clarke Cagle's Ardun. This car is sometimes associated with Art Mikkleson, who "bought" it just before it ran 144. But Art never paid, just happened to be there at the right time.

That makes for a rather unique looking Fuel Coupe, don't it?

 

If I am not mistaken, Kent Enderle's race car was a 1928-29 Ford pickup truck. It was on the cover of one of the small car magazines in the 1950's.
