I really like your extended bracket off the pumpkin for the stabilizer bar. The longer, the better. Really nice build.

That chop is perfect. It keeps the civilians guessing. A slightly chopped 4 door is the shits, in a great way. You're doing super work, especially with what you started with.

I think you you have really killed it on the build of your '36 bars with the added bars on top. Many American builders who use the '36 bars don't do this and I think it is a mistake. My '34 had just the '36s but I only had 175 horsepower. That thing wouldn't pull someone's tooth. Again, you are putting thought into this ride. Great job, Bud !

I'll add another atta boy! Great job you've done so far on the build. When you get your second wind you have way less to do than what you've already accomplished! You'll get a lot of years of enjoyment driving it!

After the engine I rebuild the transmission a 89 Th 700 R4 it will have a FTI 2400 stall converter.
I beefed it up with Alto reds and Kolene steel, wider 2-4 band .500 boost valve, corvette servo and a B&M shift improver kit. It was the first time I rebuilt a 700 transmission a little tricky with the seals but Youtube can be helpful. 20201008_104003.jpg 20201008_104504.jpg 20201018_100315.jpg 20201028_183114.jpg 20201029_112849.jpg

  7. I like your transmission cradle. Do you run the bolt in, and use jamb nut to hold it in place? Does the whole thing mount on an engine type stand?

Nice that you like it, Its a 5/8 rod that fits in the hole on the trans on the backside and on the front a M16 bolt that fits in the opposite hole no jam nut. There is a 3/8 bolt ont top of the trans that presses on the case and it fits in a engine stand.

I have assembled th 3rd member its a case that I had laying around and a old TracLoc differential the gears are used Ford 3.70s . I did not get the contact pattern thast I wanted I think the gearset is pretty worn but will see how it works. I want to use a pair of Edelbrock valve covers with no holes so I have modified the Performer EPS intake, A AN8 fitting in the front of the intake that goes to the PCV valve, I will also fill oil via the AN fitting. On the back of the intake there is a AN 6 fitting that will take air from the aircleaner. 20201108_131458.jpg 20201103_152153.jpg 20201103_152240.jpg 20201109_114343.jpg 20201109_114431.jpg

Very nice fab work! I'm just a bit sad the flattie V8 isnt in it.

From all your pictures, Sweden looks just like northern Maine USA where I live.

I have bought a flexplate made by Scat it was a little bit concave it came very close to the starter gear and far away from the converter so I made a 3 mm spacer between the crank and flexplate, now its fine I think. Also started to make tke cooler lines for the transmission. And installed the dipstick for the Th700. 20201205_132841.jpg 20201208_153204.jpg 20201220_115906.jpg 20201220_115912.jpg

I tought that the uppershock mounts were a little to tall so I shorted them and painted them black .
Painted the transmission oilpan and a lot of small parts. Have aslso installed my March Performance AC , gen, PS pump and water pump drive kit. 20201231_153252.jpg 20201231_153515.jpg 20210102_074056.jpg 20210102_074105.jpg 20210102_101703.jpg

The lower radiator hose that I bought was a little bit to short and the motor mount was in its way so I had a piece of 1 3/4" exhaust pipe and now it fits. Its tight between the AC compressor and fan but I think it will work. 20210102_102146.jpg 20210102_102200.jpg 20210104_152302.jpg 20210105_102238.jpg

i currently have a green stripe flex hose on my truck.its stiff and doesnt like to bend too tight.also have 2 gates hoses i purchased #20242 and gates#20225.20242 was too short for my application #20225 looks an option for me but id have to trim the ends. havnt gotten round to fitting it yet.i could take a few photos if u like .finding a suitable bottom hose has been breaking my chops for a long time .be glad to help /compare if i could..ideal solution is a single hose for no leaks chris

I have bought a 42 mm polished stainless pipe from a company that makes handrails and some 5 mm thick plates and made a rear spreader bar. The front bar is from CW Moss. 20210211_110639.jpg 20210211_123608.jpg 20210211_123737.jpg 20210216_114216.jpg 20210221_115542.jpg

Yes its home made a piece of a 40x40x3 square tubing. The angle of the pedal was really strange without it.
