Hello All, New to the HAMB and just picked up a 1936 Ford Pick up that was taken apart 50 years ago, stored in a garage but complete. As I dig through it I'll be sure to ask for guidance. Appears to be a 36 block LB block with inserts. Excited to be apart of the ol Henry era.

Welcome to the HAMB. Make sure to fill out your introduction before the HAMB police get ya! Sounds like a good score. Should be fun. Join the the Ford Barn as well. A lot of old Ford knowledge in both places.

Welcome, fortunately for you, there's a ton of info here on those trucks, a ton of guys who love them. Ask away, here's mine. DSC07768.JPG

  7. Hope Lawson Cox is still around on the FordBarn. He's about 90, knows the '35-'37 Ford pickups inside and out.

Will a 35 Ford car bumper like the one you have on your truck bolt to pick up bumper brackets?

Tyler, I don't know, because mine isn't a 35 car bumper. I have no idea of its origin, just that it's a damn fine bumper, so I used it.

  22. There is a post on here that is 35-36 & 37 Ford truck only with tons of info on the suttle differences between all 3. I've been looking for it but can't seem to turn it up. If your unsure of anything it seemed like just about everything had been covered. Worth the read for a Guy new to one.
    Welcome, I'm not far away.
