I like that engine - the finned valve cover, the progressive linkage. What size Holleys?

If I owned your car I'd think it might be time to remove the graphics from the side though.

The Holleys are 280 cfm from 60 Mercs. Progressive linkage is designed and made by me. Some FE dual quad parts. The finned valve cover and side you don’t see are Tony Barons Thicksen repops. The car was repainted from black in 1980 and could not be all white to race on the salt. Very popular then to add graphics. If you noticed there is salt damage on a lot of places. It will be black again someday. Thanks

Love the sounds of 6 cylinders with split manifold and glass packs.

my 41 is a hotrod in the truest sense .235 with split headers, and 2 coils off the frnt springs . syncros and 3.07 rear real soon , but fun with the crash box and 4.11s or what ever they are . hoping for low 20s in the 1/4 and 20 mpg ?my 50 wayfarer still has the 230 ,split manifold and 2.56 rear .hot rod ? 20 mpg !! sounds better than a chevy 6 ! to me !!! 18. I love those inline 6 engines! We have a daily driver '50 Chevy pickup, a '56 Chevy 150 2 door sedan street/strip car, and another '50 Chevy pickup that is a race truck - all with 292 inline six engines (and a stick, of course!) You should bring those to the Spring Thompson Gasser Reunion in NE Ohio. I usually race there. A match race of two inline powered altereds would be fun. trp2013_1448.JPG
