So I bought a 63 riviera with a 65 motor and trans in it for the motor and trans to put in my 34 ford. One of the selling points was the dual quad intake since the car was rusted out junk, it ran and drove good but it is really rusty. I didn't look at it that close when I bought it but just assumed it was the factory intake. When I pulled the motor today i realized the intake was aluminum. I did a quick google search and it looks sort of like the Edelbrock but there are no maker marks on it that I can find. Does anyone have an idea?

It looks like an Edelbrock B262 to me...with the lettering ground off..

  4. If it is indeed an Edelbrock B262, that is supposedly the best dual quad intake for a Buick. I bought one for my son, "Dual Quad 55" here on The H.A.M.B., years ago at the Englishtown, N.J. swap meet.

Years ago I bought a cherry B262 at the Hot Rod Reunion at Famoso with a pair of afb carbs for $300. A friend saw it and just had to have it, I think I sold it to him for $500...the quick profit made me think I did great on that deal...till he sold the intake alone for like $1400. Needless to say I was bummed...and yes they are worth lots of money. Dont really know why to be honest.
