So you can not be tempted with a pic of a 1934 5W coupe?

You know l love the old Mopars! To me those Quarter windows on a 33 look like an ill planned after thought straight from the factory.......If I ever get lucky enough to own one it would be converted into a 3 window.

I don't care for the hood and front fenders as well on a 34, that's all.

I like the '34 grill better than '33 Plymouth but I like the '33 body more. Here is my '33 Plymouth PD coupe with '34 Dodge grill shell trimmed at the bottom and custom grill.

331 Hemi and LaSalle trans. All Mopar with the exception of a 525 GM steering box. (And the LaSalle trans)

Hoping to fire it up for the 1st time tomorrow!

    Dave

P.S. I think the quarter windows are some of the best looking of all old cars!

I thought this thread would be loaded with 33's, they must be far more scarce than I thought. That's sad to me as I even love the instrument panel.

I can appreciate your love of the 33 Plymouth given I have the same attraction. But, don't forget that the 33 Dodge isn't much different cosmetically and they had pickups...

earlymopar, You are right, the Dodge is very close, fancier character lines on the fenders but I rarely ever see a 33 Dodge. The trucks are very cool and I love the suicide doors.

These were some old Ebay ones for sale, the red and black coupe had a Mopar engine too, it was a very beautiful car. The truck was an old U S Forrest truck, it was neat. Scan 23.jpeg

From a distance, the only difference in 33 and 34 bodies are the angle of the windshield. I like the grille, dash and front fenders of a 34 better. That`s what`s going on my 33. As I found it. Only using the body. Scan0607.jpg

Here is another one you don`t want to see. It along with the trailer full with 2 dodge bodies are sitting in a building to the north of you, less than 80 miles. Not far off the interstate. Scan0806.jpg

Built this sedan in 1976 and has been on the road ever since. A few engine / suspension changes over the years but still going.
