Help to identify fender mount spare covers

    I bought these two spare covers for possible cut up for fenders, They are real nice and if they are better to re sell rather then chop them up. There is a C on each one, and in light colored pencil is what looks like 700/16 SY hard to read but it's on both.     those are pretty nice. 700x16 would have been a big car in the 34 and up era is my guess. packard or something else expensive. maybe try at the AACA forum

    Here is a photo of where the trim piece fastens to the cover. The same on both ends.

    Great, thanks, looks like I don't cut them up , If I need fenders , I'll find some .
