    I think early lasalles had four exhaust outlets per bank. It's got a lincoln transmission so that's cool

    Judging by the size of the tire I think it’s in a midget. Looks like some kind of opposed four to me.
    Edit- I meant to say eight, not four, judging by the exhaust porting.

    Doesn’t look like any caddy flathead mill I’ve ever seen and I’ve had my hands on lots of them all the lasalle 322 had 3 exhaust ports the center two cylinders were a shared port and the front two intake ports were right next each other the rear ports the same with the center two exhaust ports in the middle the 346 was the same block with a bigger bore it is interesting and I would like to know more

    Yeah after I got it on my computer and looked at it I was pretty off on the engine and the trans ID :/
    I'm going to keep looking...

    I will throw a guess out; maybe aircraft. I don't know if Lycoming ever made a flat eight but those two carbs look small for even a flat six.

    Ive been working on the new mill for my dragster got the blower and drive mocked up and been working on getting the fuel pump drive fabricated to have cam drive still got a ways to go but it’s getting there hopefully after the first of the year I’ll be able to get it installed and fired up can’t wait to hear it run
