In1964 when the GTO came out I wanted one so bad. I was 21 married with two kids and had to settle for 1950 chevy business coupe. The kids rode in the back cross legged on a wood floor. Ron
Ford called the no post a Victoria Town Sedan and Mercury called them Phaetons; they had a slight drop on the door tops and are prized today. I’m sure some else knows about the other manufacturers.
Thanks jimmy six. Over the years I've owned a 1955 Victoria Town Sedan and a 1956 Victoria 2 door hardtop and never realized Victoria was always a hardtop. I appreciate the knowledge. 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX
they are called (tri-five Chevy's) not just tri-fives. that is because they share the same chassis for those 3 years.
