Henry obviously did not believe in an air conditioned environment for his employees.

No.. single engine. As I remember the centrifugal clutch had a 3000 stall. We always started it with the rear bumper on a block of wood with the tires not touching the ground.

Kim Novak and Jack Lemmon film at the Royal Theater? "Bell, Book and Candle?" "The Notorious Landlady?" What's your guess?

You’re kidding right? Sixty-five years later auto assembly plants still don’t have AC.

Bean Bandits in the near lane running against Dode Martin. Though they were often competitors, Dode was always a good friend to the Bean Bandits .

Photo shows Jimmy Miller, Louie Foy, Dick Ferguson and Gib Lilly , rounding the steep banked curve of the Atlantic Stadium Speedway in Los Angeles . The famous track has recently been rebanked and widened so that four cars as shown in photo, can easily go into the turns . This is one of the fastest fifth-mile banked paved tracks in the country . Races under United Midget Association are run here every week. The stands are usually filled to capacity which is about 7,000 ![IMG]
