Hello I have a 31 Dodge coupe with a Dodge 315 hemi and trying to learn more about the engine and find options for parts. What other hemi parts interchange with the 315? I know parts are limited and Hot Heads has some parts and data but I am looking to see what others have identified - I found very limited data out on the web. Here is a picture of the car and engine.

Put Hemi Tech in the search bar as a starter. The 315 and 325 are essentially the same engine. The 241 and 270 are 'little brothers' and not much interchangeable with the taller deck 315-325. The Chrysler and DeSoto engines have very little to offer...maybe the oil filter...;)
There are parts that are useful interchanges but they are limited. There is some shiny billet stuff if that is to your liking.
If you have little or no experience then ask lots of questions. There is alot of EarlyHemi affection on this board.

Looks great. Tough to find lots of affordable parts for these early Hemi's. I have a 276 Desoto in my 32 and the Cam was the hardest. Hot Heads was a great help thru the process.
Best advise from a variety of experts was to not over cam or over carb early Hemi's and they were right on.
Tons of torque and very reliable. Good Luck. All the SBC folks will be drooling.

I believe this might be the thread 73RR encouraged you to search for. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/hemi-tech-index.118764/

I just discovered it a few days ago when I developed early symptoms of "Hemi Fever". I have my eyes on a 241 Dodge and have been doing a lot of searching for information and tips on them in particular. I have thought of using a 241 in a future '30 Ford Coupe build I have in mind. The attraction of the 241 (or a 270) is the smaller physical size and lower weight compared to other hemis.

Advertised C/R was 7 or 7.1:1, one was measured at 6.19:1! Considering the small CID 10:1 would be a good improvement. Too bad the old Webrodder site crashed, had a couple good Dodge builds on it.
