    Well it's almost Christmas!

So anyone listening to Christmas music? I'm only listening to it when the radio station plays one other then that its cd's of my choice.

Now if I were listening to Christmas music I'd have to say it might have to be elvis.... Santa Claus is back in town...in a big black Cadillac....

  4. I've been a Ventures fan since Walk Don't Run '64 but I hadn't heard their version of this Christmas classic 'til a couple weeks ago.

    Frosty Tequila?

Brian Setzer has several Christmas albums in rockabilly style with songs like Santa Drives a Hot Rod. They’re in the jukebox rotation this time of year.

Lately there´s a lot of " Greta van Fleet" , " Slayer" on the shop radio and I think Lemmy´s version of "Enter Sandman" should be covered by Metallica someday , hahahahha . There´s also some "Clutch" and " Spiderbait" going on and of course Junior Brown.
On the other hand, my winter beater happens to have a CD radio and drug my old 80s and 90s rap cd´s out of the basement. So there´s also NWA, 2LifeCrew , Run DMC and some Beastie Boys in the Beamer. It also has that gangsta tint and bling wheels. But it was too cheap to pass, hahahah:D

Damn ! Some of you guys are bringing back memories!

Brian seltzer, runDMC, beastie boys etc!!

I always thought Brian and David Lee Roth ought to get together, they both seem to love that show tune type music...

Although I sometimes prefer the sound of wet sanding and paying attention to what I'm doing.

    LOL
It's a love-hate relationship. I lose myself in it... forget about everything else. Zen-like, reflecting the light just right, developing the surface. Getting to the point where any issues are resolved with just a light touch... till you simply can't find any more.
But it's hard, tedious, and time-consuming. And it hurts.
But CCR drowns out my moans and groans.

I'm 75 but the 80's are it for me. Just got married, moved to an island. Life never has been more exciting, all the songs bring back the good feeling.

I wouldn't say I needed to be so mellow to need YoYo Ma playing but when I assembled engines both the radio and the phone would be unplugged and the door locked too.
Otherwise some Thunderstruck by AC/DC would suit me fine in the shop.
Funny story, many years ago I was doing something in the back yard where my shop is, had the shops' window open with some yardwork "Mood" music blasting, I wasn't within sight of the door and apparrently I was pretty focussed when the music stopped, figured it was an issue with the radios' signal.
I looked up just in time to see the old bag that lives behind my shop on the next street walking out through my gate but knew immediately what had transpired, she actually had the "balls" to get in her car and drive around the block, walk into my shop and turn off my radio, the F#@king nerve.
We've butted heads before so I let it slide and figured I would get back at her someday.
Someday came when I finally got tired of her (wild) blackberries growing through my fence so I got out my big jug of Roundup and dealt with her blackberries.
    And her vegetable garden too.
