been a couple months since I posted anything, lot's of cool builds shown here since I've been away.Models continue to be built and the "Stash"is finally dwindling down to a number I may get done before Father Time comes calling. Here are a few since my last post, some friendly some not.

This Monogram '40 Ford was missing parts for the bed so I cobbled a wrecker together from the parts box.

musclecars..... In the previous posts the "guy" with yellow hair is wearing sunglasses. Were the glasses part of the mold or something you purchased separately? I'm attempting to make two pair.
I especially like the '40 wrecker. John

Been working on this JoHan '56 Olds 98 since the late '90s. Made it this far so far. The Bare Metal foil part kicks my ass. HPIM1701.JPG HPIM1813.JPG

The Old's is looking sweet.I'm like you, everything is going good on a build and then the dreaded BMF rears it's ugly head. The last 5 or 6 batches of BMF I have bought were terrible,it's seems to me they changed the formula because it leaves a sticky residue after trimming,a fellow club member suggested using Novus 2 and it worked removing it, also started foiling after clearing instead of before.

Thank you. It looks like Set 1 with glasses has been replaced with Set II without glasses.
Would anyone have the glasses? from Tamiya Campus Friends set 1? I need 2 pair.

Finally, it's Sunday. These two Monograms are from a three car ebay
purchase. As a rule, I don't buy finished cars but I saw these and figured
I could re-do them. Turned out they were too nice to touch. I scored
and chalked up my auction victory to both good luck and rudestude's
deciding to take a step back from bidding.

Whenever I see that Monogram Models dragster I think Romeo Palimedes car was their inspiration.
@quick85 you made a good buy, those models are in great condition, the Indy car is my favorite.

    Very good score quick85.
I must of over looked them, just today I brought out my Long John.....dragster and the Indy car I figured I would get them together .
The long John is another rocket power kit but it uses small CO2 cartridge for boost, I will build it with the booster rocket installed but like the other one ,I won't fire it too much work to scatter it.
I'm still looking for just the right one to launch one day. 20201230_090338(0)~2.jpeg 20201230_090431~2.jpeg 20201230_082918~2.jpeg

Ok.... too be honest Quick85 I didn't totally stay away from the bay.
I went on to look for some parts that I needed to help finish up some old builds .
Then it happened...I saw a kit that would set me up for a build that I have been wanting for years.
Well I got it, then I spotted a couple of assembled kits that would give me extra parts for my new build that I just bought myself in to...then another kit came up that would help with my parts gathering , got it.
So I managed too get myself back out of there...but on the way out I did bid on and get couple of 1 /12th scale 57 Chev kits one box Containing 2 unstarted cars with a alot of parts , mainly I needed the engine and tires ,wheels and some other parts for one that I had started customizing, sectioned it, years back.
Waiting for delivery now., so anyways I'm back out for awhile again.
Heres a peek at what I found .

So did you figure out what I'm going for with my new gathering of kits and parts?
Here it is. My favorite little truck.
I think I got a good start of parts , I have down loaded about every picture I can find of it , still trying to find some more details on the suspension.
My plan is to do the build combining the different phases it went through over the years.
Been gathering the different tire and wheel combo's , engine mod parts ,bobbing of the bed 6" and fenders 3",
    See what I can do. 20201230_084047~2.jpeg 20201230_090548~2.jpeg 20201117_002121.jpeg 16050394055366159345838289274479~2.jpeg 16049836198606677799529351047463.jpeg 16049836722401107639755549879467.jpeg 16055970349476341751376542885924.jpeg 20201124_095738~2.jpeg
