Ran across this interesting adapter. Could it be the big truck bellhousing? All the 32-34 4cyl trans had the bellhousing cast as 1 piece with the trans case that I am aware of. Could it be used to adapt the T5 to the 32-34 4 cyl Ford? Clutch arm looks like '32.
I think you will need a 5/8th aluminum adapter plate between the hogshead and the transmission to establish the T5 bolt pattern. Yes it does resemble a 32 4 cylinder big truck bell housing but I'm not sure.
Got confirmation that its only 32-34 4cyl. Won't work with the Model A. I can't use it so will list it without the clutch arm and shaft and fork.
AA and BB bell housings have a different bolt pattern to the primary engine housing, I have had both, the images above are BB truck, I adapted a TR6060 to a 33 B engine, as stated I used a 16mm aluminium plate to join the housing to the trans.
AA Bell does not have the same clutch shaft and linkage(look at the clutch arm) . AA wishbone attaches to the bell .The BB to the Kmember. Comment made on FordBarn: The BB clutch housing will not bolt to an A flywheel cover so if you are putting a 5 speed behind a Model A you need the AA clutch housing. The AA has a socket for the wishbone, the BB's does not because the 32 wishbone connected to the K-member. Both of the housings look the same with respect to the transmission bolt pattern.
I used an AA bellhousing and an adapter from Dave at Vintage Metalworks to mate a T5 to Model A 4-banger... Vintage Metalworks (330) 322-3102 www.vintagemetalworks.blogspot.com Here's the whole story... https://clampdowncomp.com/tech/installing-an-overdrive-t5-transmission-in-a-model-a-ford/
