Cool old 57 Lincon coming out of service station pulling a cargo trailer. Just an older used car at that point, not classic status yet. Thanks HemiDav for all the great pics you post. 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX
Thanks again swi66 for all great pics, ESPECIALLY the pics of early Signal Gas & Oil service station. I collect Signal Gas petroliana and those pics are going on my wall. Thanks again. 1 more car I promise, Rex Winter Dry & windy Lubbock TX

No.43 Tuff Renault. Good ol' Slim. He made it. Lightened frame. Take it for a spin on dealer plates. Not sure but probably French. Chain drive.
Service equipment. Sharp intake of breath. "spindles bent, innit, mister". Not a clue. Maxwell 25. Had to work out what was going on here. Hudson.
Good Ol' Francis Birtles. Quite dramatic. Interesting front wheel drive racer. Ballarat airfield. Hope Dad's got the brake on.
Loved the bottles of oil we filled from the bulk drums or the overhead guns. Some customers didn’t like them and wanted to see us open a can and poor it in. Same price, I guess they thought they were getting cheated with cheaper oil.
From the position of the hand brake-park brake handle the brakes are set and the the trans is in neutral
