Young Dean in this picture grew up to be a great Sprint car driver, Many wins, 3 time champion CRA, Ascot park Calif. I met him at the Speedway Museum way back late 79/80 or so as he came to midwest to race and was sightseeing like I was, a very nice man, I walked away thinking very humble for the hero he was.

 

Add a little cardboard and presto chango it's now a coupe

Just had a brain fart looking at this picture. The jeep reminded me of the diesel powered ones I used in the Marines. I think they where called a Searless. Anybody remember?

Talking about Ralph's Bus that he drives for work. It would be a vintage vehicle. ;-)
