75th Anniversary?? Tomorrow will be the 79th anniversary.....unless that "new math" is being used.

 

When I sandblasted my 34 delivery down to it's original paint. It was white with green crosses, and was an Ambalance when it was new. It was never registered outside of the state of Virginia. But was probably still an ambalance in 1941. It became a street, and drag car in the 1960's. That's when I first spotted it as a kid on my bicycle. Thanks to all that served, and we will never forget. Ron........

Rusty would probably have been supporting the war effort on a farm or ranch somewhere. When I got him there was a sticker from China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station on the front bumper but my guess that was from much later.

 

Every car & truck we have today 1942 and older somehow helped win WWII. I think every city was working 24/7 building stuff. Bob

A friend of mine RIP just bought his 34 roadster driving home and heard on radio Pearl Harbor is being bombed same day. he joined army.He still had the same car updated street rodded driving until his passing 10 years ago.He told that story a lot. Cool dude.

Never off the frame - just an old survivor that’s had a drivetrain rebuild. Cool to think that it’s been on the road for 80 years.

I purchased this 41 Ford in 1969 for $198 from a Cherry Farmer in Santa Clara CA. It was my daily driver until 1989. The car came off the assembly line late 1941.

Think of all of the GR8 aircraft, tanks etc. that were built in our automobile assy. plants. A lot of that work done by the gals........with quality....no recalls here.
