Couldn't find mirrors I liked, so whittled down a $20 pair of eBay motorcycle mirrors, and riveted them on. thumbnail_Tee Nee front mirrors (2).jpg Mirror Mount (2).jpg

I'm pretty sure the threaded posts on the windshield frame are for forward-facing windshield struts, which would also look kind of cool.

Excellent progress on your build so far. T Buckets are hit or miss for me, though admittedly mostly miss. I dig this one. Has a cool, aggressive look.

The T-Bucket got it's name tag installed on the dash today, and the carpet is cut. More to come. Stay tuned! thumbnail_T N dash.jpg thumbnail_Tee Nee dash.jpg

Tee Nee in Thai means "right here" like where do you want the couch? and the owner says Tee Nee and points where it goes. :)

Nice. Well, that kinda fits I guess. I will point it, and it will go I hope!

thumbnail_KIMG0150.jpg thumbnail_KIMG0150.jpg I have an alternator. The only problem is I needed to order the stainless, chrome, corrugated radiator hoses, because the lower hose hits the belt. One step forward, one step back. Or is that two steps back? The upper hose is just for mock up, and not staying.

Hi, recently purchased a 34' Chevy seen in my avatar here. Nebraska title says it previously belonged to Joseph Haag. Happen to know anything about this car?

I showed the photos to his daughter, and she doesn't recall him ever owning that car, and neither do I, so we know nothing. Sorry.

  16. Just drove by the Junction speedway in McCool yesterday coming home from OKC.
Today I got an email about the auction of Joe Haag’s collection from Vanderbrink auctions.

    Thanks.
His family decided to keep some, and let some other of his vehicles go.

I am still working out wiring bugs, replaced the radiator, added trim rings to the wheels, replaced a timing gear drive set that had come loose with a double roller chain, switching out the side mirrors, and finishing the upholstery. The red bed cover is coming soon.

Good to know! They are emblems from a 50's boat trailer with that name.

Wow! The old TEE NEE location is less than a mile from my buddy's shop- When I first saw the emblem on the dash I thought "Why did he put a trailer emblem on his T- bucket?" but I guess most people outside of my part of the country aren't really familiar with the brand and it does make a great name for that little monster.

We got some more done on the bucket tonight. Relocated the skull third brake light, so I had room for the plaque (I have to fly my colors), finished the shifter and brake pedal boots and trim, and thanks to a radiator swap, I had to move my overflow bottle to the passenger side. Yikes..."Tee Nee" around my house, is usually the wife referring to a specific body part:eek::mad::eek:.

That's probably one of the best looking T Buckets I've ever seen. Nice job.
